Motswari Private Game Reserve, located within the Timbavati and Umbabat Private Nature Reserve, comprises about 150 square kilometers. The Main Camp comprises a total of 15 en-suite bungalows, all interspersed in the natural bush. This reserve retains its exclusivity by not hosting more than 30 guests at any given time. Each unit has been decorated in a traditional style that blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings yet maintains an exclusive luxurious feel. Giraffe’s Nest is nestled in an exclusive location overlooking the Xanatsi Dam. It is a luxury treehouse that accommodates two. Here you can lie and revel in the beauty of the African sky at night, yet the room is completely secure and extremely private, and can be covered by a retractable canvas roof if you choose to. Shortly before sunset a knowledgeable guide will escort guests to the dam, where they will be left to enjoy the tranquility and intimacy of this amazing location until the following morning.Drinks and an understated, yet scrumptious dinner are provided. While waking up to the fresh bush air and the splendid scenery,guests can prepare for an exciting day in the bush by indulging in a scrumptious, buffet-style continental breakfast as well as a generous selection of cooked-meal options, prepared on the open fire in the boma. Lounge Guests are welcome to enjoy a spot of relaxation or un-wind in the outdoor lounge area, with stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. Be on the lookout for game frequenting the waterhole close by or watch them as they

PACK ACCORDING TO THE SEASON

Summer and winter months vary in temperature, and as such we recommend guests tailor their clothing to suit the seasons: Summer is from 1 October to 30 April. With temperatures starting at 25°C and peaking at 50°C at times, it is advisable to pack shorts,T-shirts, swimming gear and perhaps a pair of trousers and a light jersey or fleece.Winter is from 1 May to 30 September. During this time the temperature is more moderate, between 15°C to 25°C. Guests are advised to pack long trousers and long-sleeved T-shirts/shirts, a fleece, warm jacket, beanie, scarf, warm shoes and warm pajamas.

These walks offer visitors the opportunity to experience the wilderness like never before -up close and personal. A professional guide will open up a whole new magical world to the naked eye and provides guests with the opportunity to view small fauna and flora from a truly unique perspective.

During a delectable High Tea, the reserve’s knowledgeable game rangers will share fascinating information on a wide variety of topics, in a relaxed environment.   Deposit Policy: A reservation is not confirmed or secured until this deposit requirement has been paid in full. We reserve the right, without notice to release any accommodation held where the required deposit has not been paid in full within the stated period. All Seasons 20% non-refundable deposit is required within fourteen (14) days of making a reservation, unless a booking is made within sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival in which case full payment is required within seven (7) days to secure the reservation. The balance of the amount must be paid, in advance, no less than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. All other extras must be settled with the Hotel prior to departure  
Cancellation Policy:
Only written cancellations will be accepted; please ensure you receive an acknowledgment of cancellation from Central Reservations. All deposits of 20% received on confirmation are Non-Refundable and will apply as cancellation fees. All Seasons Should the reservation be cancelled less than sixty (60) days prior to arrival, should you fail to arrive on the day, or should an in-house guest check out prior to the guaranteed departure date, the hotel has the right to charge the full value of the accommodation or part thereof, depending on the occupancy and availability of the rooms on the night/s in question, unless the reserve or lodge will have been able to resell the room.
